Pam's Birdhouse Cake

This cake was made for my dear friend Pam's birthday. Birdhouse is RKT covered with white chocolate & then with fondant. Bird is gum paste - done free hand with this being my first attempt & thought it turned out pretty good for my first try. I knew that it would only go down here from here. Dusted with pale yellow pearl dust. Flowers are gum paste with centers and edges dusted with petal dust. Bottom tier is a ten inch chocolate cake with cookies & cream filling and top tier is an eight inch marble cake with caramel mousse filling. Iced with BC and covered with fondant. Special thanks to summerki for all of her help and inspiration....thanks summer...I'm glad I didn't give up and let the birdhouse win!
