This was a wedding cake for some friends of ours. The bride requested "a cherry blossom cake" with branches wrapping around the cake. I prefer cherry blossom cakes where the branches stay on the more delicate side. So we tried to compromise. She absolutely loved it and it got rave reviews!! Top two tiers 6" & 10".. were chocolate with chocolate espresso cream cheese filling. The 14" bottom tier was WASC with Vanilla Cream Cheese custard filling. Loved making the cherry blossoms!
