gosh...I loved making this cake...but everything started going south when I got to reception location. It was a hot Texas day, I place the cake in a refrig, because I wanted to wait a bit before putting it out. There was something wrong with the refrig because it was leaking water somewhere...so when I when to take the cake and set it up the cake was soaking wet. I wish I could "do over" in an air conditioned environment. Either way...everybody loved it.
