My sister decided that she wanted to make a cake for her friend's birthday, my reply "sure thing sis, when do you want it for?" ... ummm... tomorrow O_O 5 hours to do a cake after 9 hours at work... So me, my sister and my sister's friend set about this cake. It is vanilla sponge, filled with buttercream and jam, buttercream crumb coated and covered with fondant. Hand painted cards, fondant chips, fondant decorations. I usually work with ganache, so it's not as sharply covered as it could have been but for one nights work I was happy!
