I made this for my little cousin who loves Mario Kart. I used several cakes on CC as inspiration however I decided to make it my own... I decided to carve the cake into a spiral. The cake is covered in buttercream, the kart is fondant and Mario is a toy... I usually stand by my "no inedible pieces" rule but I simply just did not have the time to make him..
