This is the cake I made for the 4th of July...which happens to be my birthday. I have a twin so I don't look at it as making my own birthday cake. I look at it as making my sister's cake. LOL. It is covered in buttercream with the flag stripes made of fondant. The three stars on the sticks are dyed white chocolate with shimmer dust on top.
