I did this cake for my sons graduation. I really wanted to add a football since he is going to play college ball (hence the purple cake board). But I made the top tier an 8" instead of a 6" so I couldn't turn the tier at an angle and put the football where it needed to go. I was so bummed. I could have put little footballs around the top tier...
