this cake was for my grandpas 75th bday. he is a roper and has a ranch. the cake has three tiers. the bottom was a 12 in square and hand painted to look like the panels on the wall of his house. each side has an edible image of him riding his horse. the next tier is a 10 in round made to look like a pair of pants. I covered hidden pillars to look like wooden poles and added horse shoes to each. a separator plate is carry the last tier which was made to look like cow hide. on top of the cow hide is a bale of hay made from rice krispy which has a gumpaste saddle with a pad.
