2nd cake from "2-tier Special Occasion Cakes" course. Made the bow at home as a separate piece, so it could be removed for cutting the cake, and could be kept as a keepsake for a while, if wanted. This proved to be quite a problem, as the chocolate bow is very fragile and difficult to handle/transport, and the pieces kept snapping off, particularly the ribbon pieces which stick out. I lost count, how many times, I had to start over again, making new pieces and trying to patch them back on! If I ever do this for a sale, I will have to make sure I make, double the amount needed, before starting the assembly, and make sure there are plenty of spare parts on hand, for emergency repairs!
