These cupcakes were made to honor our national Dutch team. The color and nickname of our team is 'Orange', hence the orange food colouring. The cupcakes are lemon cupcakes from a recipe of the Hummingbird cook book. The little furry creatures surrounding the cupcakes are called 'Beesies' and are give-aways from the biggest supermarket company in the Netherlands whom traditionnaly give something with your groceries when there is a big soccer event involving the Dutch team.
