I got the idea for this cake by looking at the Wilton "diaper downpour" baby shower cake. I didn't like how cardboard was used to make the rainbows, however, so I made mine from gumpaste. The cakes are iced in buttercream and the Care Bears are made with fondant. I wanted to have a bear sitting on one of the rainbows, but they proved to be too heavy!
