My friend told her mom she would surprise her with an applepie... instead.. she ordered a spring cake from me! I couldn't leave out the applepie bit, so I decided to make appletrees on the side of the cake. My friend loved it! Fluffy vanilla cake with apricot and whipped cream fillings, decorated with marzipan. Thanks for looking!
