Decided to make my mom and Granny a cake for Mom's day so we can eat after our pedi's we're getting ; ) 6" rounds, baker's chocolate and white chocolate combined to make chocolate curls (approx. 3-3.5" long), fondant/gumpaste roses and leaves, RI lace pieces. Took a few days and stages, but I like the way it turned out. Inspired by aleina's wonderful cake (if only my roses were as full as theirs - beautiful) TFL!
