This was the cake that got me addicted to making cakes. I made this cake for my mother-in-laws 50th birthday bash. There was alot of people attending and we didnt want to spend a great deal of money on a cake from the bakery. So I was told to make the cake. Now seeing as this was my first time making a big cake, and it was for my in-laws, I wanted to go "all out". This is my first time doing anything like this, and I had no idea on how to do anything..not even how to ice a cake. Its a white chocolate cake, with buttercream frosting. Sprinkled with large sugar crystals and melted white chocolate writing for the name and snowflakes. I made white chocolate lollipops for the topper and favors as well.
