3D R2D2 (Starwars) Birthday Cake Gluten Free

Quite a job, this 3D R2D2 cake. I didn't even know who R2D2 was.. but I think it does resemble the pictures I found and the birthday boy was thrilled, so I was told. The cake is about 40 cm in heights and all gluten free. The mother was so excited that she could still offer her kids suffering from coeliac disease this amazing cake. The body is made out of 4 different layers of cake (carrot deluxe gluten free and fluffy vanilla cake gluten free) with different filings (vanilla buttercream, sweetened cream cheese, apricot ). The head can be taken off and is made of fluffy vanilla cake gluten free with vanilla buttercream and apricot. The cake is covered in Marshmellow Fondant (definitely NOT my favourite!). The legs are made out of foam covered in MMF. I would have loved to have made it out of rice krispies or something like that, but due to allergies it was not possible to use that kind of ingredients. I painted the head silver, which I think, looks quite good. Well, I'm quite proud but the very best part I think, is the fact that this cakes comes with sound and all! As you can see on the bottem, I made a speaker out of fondant. Underneath is a soundchip and using an R2D2 translater on internet, I recorded a birthday message for the birthday boy in R2D2 language (sound). Push the red button and let the cake talk! Really great (with some help from my husband for the technical details). Thanx a lot for watching!
