This is a 3 tier, 6", 8", and 10" round cake covered in homemade MMF and decorated with gears, chains, aviation pin, googles, watch pieces, belts and clock made of regular fondant (Wilton Brand ready made). The tiers are hand painted with gel paste colors and luster dusts. I imagined this cake being the birthday cake for the inventor of the time machine, or captain of the argonauts.
