This cake was for my daughters kids birthday party. She specifically requested a purple Hannah Montana guitar cake so I went on line to look for inspiration and was so excited to find an awesome Hannah Montana guitar made by Washburn.........it was just what I needed for inspiration and it was purple and everything! I also found a great one made by someone here on CC and that was where I got the idea for the Maddy is Six on the cake board in the Hannah Montana lettering. I made a template for the cake and carved it from a 9x13 cake with very little waste. Its a chocolate cake with meringue buttercream and MMF. I went back and forth on how to do the strings, was contemplating floral wire but in the end just hand rolled my MMF as thin as I could and used that for strings. I think it worked out great and am glad I went that route. My daughter and her friends loved it!
