This was a wedding cake I made for friends recently married. The bottom layer is a lemon cake with lemon curd and french vanilla buttercream. The top is a yellow cake with amaretto mocha buttercream. The flowers and cranes are made out of gumpaste. It was my first attempt at making gumpaste flowers and origami cranes. While I do still see a lot of mistakes, I was ultimately happy that my friends really enjoyed it!
