This is my first (and hopefully last) alligator cake. It was insanely time consuming,,,those scales never ended! A friend wanted a Gator cake for her husband's 75th b-day. He was a construction worker, so she also asked for a hard hat. My first attempt at a carved cake. It was a little scary but I think it turned out OK. Cake was too soft for this purpose though, and it started to flatten out too much. Head and hard hat are RKT. TFL!
