This cake was inspired by one by cakecentral user preciouspjs. A friend was having a birthday and I had a cake planned for her, but the closer her birthday got the more the cake just felt wrong. So while perusing galleries a few days ago, I found that cake and knew just what I wanted to do. Cake flavor is WASC but with coffee instead of almond, and hazelnut coffee buttercream, with melted chocolate spread between the torted layers.
