I used the Wilton tractor pan for this cake. The little boy receiving this cake loves John Deere and decorated the cake with the familiar green, yellow and black buttercream frosting. I crushed up Oreo Cookies for the dirt, but wished I crushed up chocolate animal crackers instead. I think the Oreos were too dark and can't tell where the wheels stop and the dirt starts. I also glued some cotton on the end of a sucker stick for the smoke in the smoke stack. It's something that I added to the cake to give it a nice effect, yet was easy to remove before eatting the cake.
