This cake is made of four 6" square cakes (8 layers of cake total) stacked on top of one another. I used cardboard separators between each of the individual cakes and dowelled each tier like normal. Whole thing is covered in long strips of fondant- one piece of fondant for each of the four sides of the cake. The top spire of the building is hand modeled fondant with a wire running through the center for stability. Building is airbrushed silver luster by Americolor. Windows are fondant cut-outs. Spidey is a wax candle. I was going to model him out of choco clay but ran out of time. This was for my son's 4th bday.
