White chocolate cake and butter cream icing with fondant and gum paste accents. Everything on the cake worked fine except for the "40". I cut the wires too short so the "40" kept sinking behind the flowers. I fiddled with the poor thing so much it started to crack and break apart. Once I got the cake to my friend's party I pushed the two front flowers down into the cake and stuck some gum paste curls under the "40" which lifted it about an inch. It looked much better at that point, but then the batteries in my camera gave out so I couldn't get a picture of the final product. Grrrrrr.
