I made this cake for my dear friend's bridal shower. I attempted to recreate her wedding dress. I had so many problems making this and thought it turned out poorly, by my friend knew it was her dress right away and was very happy with it. The dress is gumpaste with dragees and sugar crystals around the waist. The necklace is not edible (beads on thread). Flowers are fondant. Pearls are chocolate fondant.

Edited to say that I am actually very happy with the cake itself, just not the top of the dress that gave me so much trouble and doesn't look the way I planned.
