Savannah Skye's Baptism Cake

This was a very special order for a client who had DREAMT of the design for the cake for her daughter's baptism celebration! I can tell you, transcribing somebody's dream into cake is difficult, especially when the dream was full of personal symbolism and significance. This is a 12 inch square white/purple marbled white chocolate light mudcake, with white chocolate ganache and covered in fondant. The client has a recurring dream of a river, and the cross is there to commemorate a best friend who died recently, the feather for a lost brother, and the butterflies also for some spiritual meaning. Her dream was of an enchanted forest and river/waterfall which I made all out of fondant, piping gel and RI, with some gumpaste highlights, petal dusts, lustre powders, gelatin butterflies and a small amount of glitter. Thanks for looking!
