I made this for my daughter's 7th birthday and it was a huge hit with everyone. Thank you CakeCentral for the inspiration and for the shoe template. Thank you also to the people who offered advice when I had some dramas with my shoe. This was my second cake using fondant and my first ever shoe, pillow, flowers, bow and draping. I have never done a course so it took me ages to do, with lots of trial and error along the way, but I really enjoyed it. ps - The pillow is a dummy cake, as I wanted to be able to keep it on display with the gumpaste shoe.
