This is the cake for my daughter's fourth birthday. She is my one and only cake helper, and we started this whole cake thing together just a few months ago. So needless to say, her cake needed to be fantastic. Her request was for a tea pot that is also a doll house. So that is what she got! Cream cheese pound cake, 4 layers with my mom's buttercream. 6 in round on the bottom-two 8in rounds-one more 6in. Covered in white chocolate MMF. Handles for the cups, and the pot are gumpaste, and the saucers are also gumpaste. The cups are made of Orange sour dreamcicle cake (my own recipe). One cup for each child at the party :) painted with vodka and food color. It was very fun and she loved it :)
