I made a big basket cake with a 3 D pumpkin. I covered a ball cake with fondant and hand painted it with color gels. I made the stem and leaves with fondant. The cake is huge with lemon filling and a basket weave. I am totally self taught.. and by looking at all of these cool cakes on CC. I had a blast!
