The lace design was taken from the bride's dress. I created a mold from the lace and mixed fondant & gumpaste together to make the appliques. All of the pearls were hand rolled by me. The top piece was made a few days ahead of time and allowed to dry on a Pyrex bowl. I saw this headpiece design on a cake here in the gallery, but I cant remember who did it first- sorry! Very time consuming but definately worth it as I really love how this turned out!
