Branching out from traditional sheet cakes for birthdays, I told my friend I would attempt this, after seeing it in the gallery, for her son's 1st birthday. I went ahead and did the animals in fondant, but the rest of the cake is entirely buttercream...except for the shingles on the roof of the barn, and those are Oreo thin crisps. :) It got RAVE reviews, and all in all, I'm a happy decorator. :)
