Pink Princess Castle

Pink Princess Castle on Cake Central

Pink BC "stones" with paper towel centers cut for towers. Cake ice cream cones with inverted sugar cones covered in fondant and edible glitter. Some trim and rock path also fondant. So much fun to make and a delighted little princess. Thanks to all the castles before me :)

Did you have to cut into the main cake to get the towers closer in? I had trouble with my castle looking like a castle. Thanks.

Thank you. BC stones couldn't be easier. Tip #10, I think and just made shapes a little irregular and flattened with (clean) finger :) No other colors, I guess the depth/shadows make it look that way. Carterl, I did carve into the cake a bit for the towers. I think it helped them "stick", too. I didn't need to attach with anything else and it was very solid.

Yes, buttercream. If still sticky I use a little water on my finger. Not necessary if crusted. I like to flatten before crusted usually. Top tier was 6 in round and bottom was 8 in. square
