Our Wedding Cake

I decided I was crazy enough to make my own wedding cake! I knew EXACTLY what I wanted as so finally decided to just do it myself. My maid-of-honor is a wedding florist and I got this idea from a floral magazine with an article on floral-inspired cakes (the one in the magazine was covered with tiny sugar daffodils). I loved the finished product, I just wish I had made the tiers taller, maybe more like 6" instead of the standard 4" since the flowers were so gigantic (about 2" each even though they are "mini" gerber daisies). Only the top is actual cake, for the cake-cutting, and the bottom two tiers are dummies. I bought sheet cakes from a bakery to cut and serve since I know neither of our families are fondant fans.
