This was a square chocolate cake filled with coconut-pecan filling and covered with chocolate buttercream. The cake was decorate with crumbled chocolate cookies, traffic cone candles and a toy backhoe. I created a cake base using a rectangular piece of styrofoam and wrapped the sides with caution tape. The cake board was also frosted with chocolate buttercream and decorated with chocolate "boulders".
