Birthday cake for my son who wanted a beach scene with a palm tree. Made this with 2 9x13 pans - 1 chocolate, 1 white vanilla cake, iced in ivory bc with crystal sugar sprinkled for sand. Made blue gel for the sea and all shells and figures made from rolled fondant and left to dry for about 3 days. The fish,octupus and colas in the cooler were all jelly candy. Had a lot of fun putting it together and everyone loved it.
