My first cake with fondant roses.The pink roses were a mixture of fondant colours that I mashed up and liked. I used a mixture of fondant and tylose and loved the texture of the finished roses. I still don't know how people get them to look so realistic. I would love to take a class some day. People at the shower were eating the roses right off the cake so I am afraid to use chalk for dusting . Cake was Margarita with strawberry Margarita frosting. I love the canvass of a white background. TFL
