I was asked by a friend to make a cake for her 4 year old's birthday party that was Minnie Mouse themed. She had seen some on this site and wanted one similar. Here is my cake I made. My first time doing a stacked cake. My second ever fondant covered cake. Came out better than I thought it would. The bottom tier is chocolate fudge with strawberry buttercream filling and covered in buttercream and MMF that I made. The second tier is vanilla with lemon buttercream filling and pink mmf that I made. The top or minnie "head" is chocolate fugde covered in black satin ice fondant. There was no way I was going to try to attempt making black MMF. I added gum tex to the ears and bow and dried them out a few days a head of time so they would stay. glued them on with royal icing. The dots around the bottom two tiers is buttercream. The cupcakes are chocolate with chocolate fudge frosting, oreos for the ears and fondant bows that I made.
