A 50th anniversary deserves a grand cake. This one was purchased by the son for his parents (so sweet). They wanted to keep the topper so I put it on a disc for them, sprayed them with gold luster dust/alcohol. I wasn't happy with my scrollwork , learned for next time to color my RI a gold color before brushing with the gold luster dust/vodka mixture. Also should have thinned my RI a bit more for better flow, ah well we get a bit better each time! This was alternating layers of choc and vanilla cake, filled with raspberry filling, and covered in chocolate ganache, then fondant.
