Ok this was a fun last minute cake for a friend's son. He loves Gilligans Island and wanted to have a island themed party. I wanted to cover it in fondant and make it really cool but she wanted buttercream so this is what I made. The palm trees are oreo sippers with royal icing leaves set to dry on various sizes of floral formers then assembles with more royal icing. I just wish i would have had more time to allow them to set or make them bigger. They kept wanting to break on me :/ oh well i think it turned out well :D.
