I made this for an Easter celebration my husband attended at a horse farm; the morning after I had surgery. It was my version of a cake I found in a cake book (sorry don't have the book handy & can't remember author's name). The horse heads are fondant, as well as the rest of the cake is covered in fondant. Both sides of the cake had 3 horses and I made little eggs out of fondant scraps; since of course it was an Easter party.
