I made this cake for a man's 90th birthday. He used to fly planes when he was younger. This was a 12x18 sheet cake that was about 4 inches tall. I airbrushed the top with a very, light blue and added some clouds with buttercream and tip #12. The airplane was made from rice krispy treats and then I covered it in fondant. The details are done in fondant and royal icing.
