I had a terrible time trying to level this cake, I have no idea why since I've made many chocolate cakes without issue. :( This started as a 9x13 chocolate cake that I cut to make the 3 different lego blocks. Each cake/block is covered with vanilla butter cream then vanilla fondant icing. The lego bumps on top are just fondant cut outs. Lego Man and the words on the cake board are fondant / gum paste.
