It's a girl! I made this for my son's teacher. The shape not only reminded me of a pea pod, but also a banana split if you could believe that, so I made the 3 cake flavors: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry. I used the Wilton Sports ball pan for each of the peas. It's hard to see, but this little sweet pea has a brown curl atop of her head. She was a lot of fun but also a lot of work. The pod gave me a lot of trouble. I'm happy with the end result though.
