A friend's daughter was having a piano recital and wanted to do something nice for her class, so of course she wanted me to create a piano from cake. I dreaded the thought although it was way easier than I expected. I created the stand from some wood, 3 candle sticks & a few dowel rods, painted black. Then I carved the piano shape from 2 - 11x15 cakes. Covered in fondant. Made the lid out of foam core covered in fondant since I was not going to be able to transport this cake myself & didn't want it to crack on her. I am a newly obsessed Twilight fan so I had the sheet music play "Bella's Lullaby" lol. They all loved it & already placed orders for their Christmas party! TFL!
