Star Gazer lily made using a mold I made from a Silk lily petal and silicon mold compound. I pressed the gumpaste into the mold and trimmed with scissors, them used a ball tool to finish the edges. The center parts of the flower were hand molded on fine wire, brushed with tylose glue and dipped into dry yellow food coloring for the pollen. I used an airbrush to color the petals and a tiny brush for the little dot detail.
