A friend of mine wanted to know if I did champagne cake and since I hadn't, I thought I'd better give her a sample to try. They are filled and frosted with traditional buttercream. The butterflies are made of TOOTSIE ROLLS that I dry brushed with gold petal dust. I dry brushed gold petal dust on the buttercream after it crusted, too. I used the pink champagne recipe from here...I don't recall right now who put it up but it is YUMMY! THANK YOU! TFL
