This cake is for my daughters 4th birthday tomarrow. She LOVES giraffes so I had to do something with them in it. The cake is 12" round for the bottom. Top is a 6" round that I overfilled so that it would mound in the center when baking. I left the mound and used the cracks in the cake to mold the mountain. Covered in Fonderific Vanilla (a dream to work with) all of the animals are fondant that I painted with gel coloring. Trees and coconuts are sotened tootsie rolls. Bushes and grass are fondant.
