I got some ideas from others who have done MMC cakes before so thank you! The entire clubhouse is made from styrofoam covered in fondant except for the head- I used 3 balls, skewered them together and covered them in royal icing. This was not easy. In hindsight, I probably should have covered them in royal icing then covered with thin layer of fondant and then maybe painted back over with the royal- the royal took a long time to dry. I did this over a few week period. I was still happy with it- my family thought I bought it, so not sure if that is a compliment or an insult knowing the cake I did for my son's first birthday and that I like to do cakes! Oh well! My son loved it!
