This cake was requested by my MIL for a bridal shower she had to attend. Naturally with my own wedding not far away I assumed it was my own so decided to let everyone know I was in on the surprise by making the bridal shower cake a reflection of the sketches I'd been making for my own wedding cake. Needless to say, it was my bridal shower! And yes, they figured out very quickly that I was onto them!
