Under The Sea Birthday Cake

The cake is finished and decorated in IMBC. The crab is made from fondant, and the "sand" is a combination of almond meal, brown sugar, white sugar, raw sugar, and graham cracker crumbs. (I usually just throw a bunch of "sandy" looking food into a bag and shake it up. I have used just white sugar that I tinted with ivory, brown, and lemon yellow gel colors.)
