Apples&wine Cake on Cake Central

Lemon sponge, apricot jam, baked apples with caramelized brown sugar and cinnamon, pastry cream, apple roses and mint leaves, Sauternes wine jelly. Toasted mixed nuts on the sides of the cake. Apple roses made according to Martha Stewart's recipe with some modifications, i.e. poached in raspberry syrup for red, and syrup with saffron for yellow.
